Department of Aviation and Aerospace Science

For all of you who knew and loved Professor Robert Mock during the past 21 years during his tenure in the Aerospace Department and as Dean:

It is with great sadness that we share with you the news of the passing of Bob Mock. Bob was in an automobile accident this past Friday and later suffered complications that led to his passing last Sunday afternoon, June 15th.

Words fail all of us, his friends in the department, in expressing our grief at such a great and sudden loss. Bob thoroughly loved to teach and share his expertise with all our students and he was passionate about developing our department into the best of facilities where our students could learn and grow. He will be remembered fondly by all of his colleagues and generations of students that he worked closely with and mentored through the years.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Gail and his son Chris. May they be comforted in their grief.
