TSA  Reminder for students taking Simulator courses

Just a reminder that you are required to bring your logbook with you to class on January 22.  This is a TSA requirement that all students that are taking instrument training receive the appropriate endorsement.  Ms Caine will be coming to the classroom on that day to accomplish this. You will need to bring the following items:
1 - Logbook
2- U.S. Issued Passport
3-  If you do not have a Passport, you are required to bring a U.S. issued ID (Driver's License) and ORIGINAL Birth Certificate.

The Birth Certificate cannot be a copy and must have the raised seal on it.

If you do not have these documents and are not a registered U.S. citizen, you will have to follow the steps outlined on the TSA website to receive the proper authorization for this class and subsequent instrument training. The TSA website is: http://www.tsa.gov/

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

To register, foreign students need to go to http://www.tsa.gov/what_we_do/layers/afsp/editorial_multi_image_with_table_0215.shtm

If you do have student who is not a citizen and has registered with TSA where he is flying, he still needs to register again as our student.
