| Students who possess the FAA Dispatch
Certificate, may apply for up to
12 sh of credit
that can be used toward electives in any of our technology or management
concentrations, but especially applies to the
Aviation Operations Degree (ATV-3).
There is no semester hour charge for these hours. The two forms necessary to apply for the credit are available online or at the department office.
No grade is assigned to these hours and GPA is not affected.
If you wish to receive additional student loans
toward a dispatch certificate for Jeppesen, you may do so by paying for
the semester hours (once again up to 12 sh) through MSCD. The Jeppesen Academy, located near the Centennial
Airport offers full and part time classes leading to the Aircraft
Dispatcher Certificate. Remember that the final grade earned with
Jeppesen will that be assigned to the number of hours you are signed up
