AVIATION AND AEROSPACE SCIENCE DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Aviation and Aerospace Science Department of Metropolitan State College of Denver is to teach students seeking professional employment in aviation so that they, as graduates, will be very competitive in their chosen profession.

The goals and objectives to fulfill the mission are:

Provide Aviation and Aerospace Science students with the best quality education through excellence in teaching so that our graduates will be well prepared to compete in their chosen field of aviation.

Provide an Aviation and Aerospace Science faculty with the highest qualifications, best facilities and fulfilling professional opportunities to ensure the best environment for teaching in a technically dynamic profession.

Share the total experience of our Department - faculty, students, staff and facilities - with the citizens and communities of Colorado so that they will understand the full value of our contribution to Colorado, the Aviation Profession and the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
